		<description>The fan does run continuously. I&#039;m sure it will last forever. Actually I don&#039;t know the expected lifetime of the fan, but it is a long time. There is a pressure measurement on the pipe in the basement which tells us if it has stopped. I&#039;ll post a photo of it.</description>
